Gabriela Ramos studied nutrition and holistic cooking at the Natural Gourmet Institute. Before cooking professionally in New York City she graduated with a Bachelor of Sociology at Cal State Long Beach, California. Her Indigenous Afro-Caribbean background and Spanish roots are influential in her instinctual approach to flavor, taste, handpicking ingredients that are personal to her.

Cooking is her spiritual practice as well as sharing and connecting people through the intersections of culture. Gabriela believes food is healing and shares this philosophy with her community through her private chef work, pop-up dinners, and catering.
